About the Founders

Mike and Johnnie Frost know all too well the struggle to find quality childcare.  As the parents to two children, Carter and Henleigh, they struggled to find care that provided an educational component and a safe, nurturing environment.  After a less than desirable experience when their daughter was born, Johnnie set out with a mission to ensure that no family felt the stress of settling for sub-par childcare in order to work.  In 2018, KinderKids Learning Center acquired Loving Care Children’s Center in Daphne, Alabama.  Assuming ownership of a well-established program of over 20 years, KinderKids Learning Center was quickly filled with a waiting list, due in part to focusing on safe, reliable childcare with a educational component.  

 

In 2022, KinderKids opened it’s second location in Belforest.  It’s third location, located on Friendship Road in Daphne, will further expand the program and offer the growing Eastern Shore even more access to high-quality care.  In addition to overseeing the operation of the company, Johnnie is a outspoken advocate for the field of early childhood education.  It is her mission to have ECE professionals regarded as the educators they are instead of seen merely as caregivers or babysitters.  She is active in the community and currently serves as an advisor for the Baldwin County Teacher Cadet Program.  The Frost family is also active in their church and their faith is important to their company’s mission and success, as they see early childhood education as their mission field, positively impacting the lives their employees and the families they serve.
